At Bark World last fall we had an opportunity to learn about and try the Seresto Flea Collars for dogs & cats.

1) question. Do you like flea collars? Most everyone said no.
2)question. Why? To stiff & smelly, just not a favorite way to go.

I was not to wild about it but decided to give the collars a shot.
I will say I am pleasantly surprised at how well the Seresto Collars work. They are very light weight. Absolutely no smell what's so ever. Thomas is our oldest pussy cat. He had only worn a collar when he was a kitten 12 years ago. We put the collar on him, thinking this won't last long. It is as if I didn't even put anything around his neck. He is also very allergic to fleas. They give him horrible skin conditions that make him miserable. His skin and coat are so clear and soft. He is back to playing with his mice and a very happy cat. We had used the drops on the back of his neck but never again.

This collar will last for 8 months. With your pets that go outside make sure you adjust it correctly so they don't loose it. There are reflectors included in the package for those pets that like to go out and about. A special spot is built into the collar just in case it gets stuck on something. It will break away and keep your pet safe.
The price at first seems quite expensive at $70.00 but when you spread it out over 8 months. It is very affordable.
